After reading the first book, Now or Never, I was chomping at the bit to get a hold of this book. And you know what?

It didn't disappoint. I devoured this book. When is book three coming out again?

I love all of her boys... and I cannot wait to see where it goes. What relationships they will cultivate with a little mystery infused. I enjoy that Lucy Smoke makes us think at the same time as she's building strong ties with her men.

By the way, I just wanted you all to know that I've licked Texas. He's mine. I just love a nerd and he's so mine!

This is the second chapter in Harlow’s life with the Iris Boys. Now fully working AND living with them, Harlow still struggled with being kept in the dark on some matters, while taking on more dangerous assignments for Iris. Another winner from Lucy Smoke! I adore this storyline and can’t wait to see what happens next!
So much excitement and amazing things continue to happen in this series. I am already anticipating the next book and wish it was already out! I am fully invested in these characters and their relationship with one another. Harlow is an amazing main character and I love everything about her, the guys are probably one of my favorite RH group to read about and Marv is definitely becoming a favorite ❤️ Bring on book 3!!!
Amazingly well written with intrigue, new love, empathy and self doubt. This second part of the Iris Boys series is just what is supposed to happen next. Harlow is finding her way with being part of team, but still asking herself personal questions. Knix, Marv, Texas and Bellamy are slowly letting her know their own interests. Just the right amount of steam for the part of the journey these 5 are on. Can't wait for the next book.
Another amazing read that makes me so thankful for KU! The author really ramped it up in this second installment of one of my absolute favorite contemporary series. The fact that it is RH is the cherry on top. I highly recommend picking up the first book so that you can fall in love with this amazing characters. Speaking of the characters, this book has some serious character growth. I'm still looking forward to seeing how everything falls into place which means I will absolutely be reading the next book!
Really enjoyed Book 2 in the Iris Boys series by Lucy Smoke! I enjoyed the pace that Lucy set, it was nice to have a slow burn read after reading a lot of fast paced RH books (nothing wrong with them, just like to switch it up!). In this book, things starting heating up between Harlow and the guys, my favorite kept flipping in this one haha. I wish Harlow was being read in more, but hopefully that changes in Book 3 as they begin to trust her more and give her more credit since she is now a part of Iris. Definitely experienced a book hangover after reading this book. Can't wait for the next in this series. Great job again Lucy!
Once again, I have not been let down by Lucy Smoke. I honestly enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the first in this series. I plan to follow this series to the end and read it multiple times in the process. Harlow, the main character, is likeable and good hearted and she is always pushing forward. She's always willing to see both sides of the situation even when she's upset, and she's not a pushover that's waiting to let everyone make her decisions.
I love all of the Iris boys, but I agree with her feeling like they leave her out of things and that's the one thing I'm hoping she'll going to confront them on in the next book. I think their feelings towards her have something to do with it though, and I'm sure they'll find a good balance. Still, the guys are still sweet and thoughtful and adorable, and I'm so glad this series is RH because it's impossible to pick just one.
Loved it. So far I've loved everything I've read from Lucy Smoke and I hope that trend continues. I know some reviewers, especially with the first Iris Boys book, really complained about this series being too much like C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird or Scarab series. And I have to say the first book did bear a lot of similarities, but this 2nd book was surprisingly different and I enjoyed it very much. The plotline diverged drastically from anything in Stone's series and I really enjoyed the whole all-girls school intrigue that Harlow has to navigate, with the help of her guys of course! Also, I enjoyed the fact that Harlow's relationships progressed with the guys a lot in this book (there is some intimacy) instead of being snail-paced like Stone's Ghost Bird series.
